• Filo dough - 200 g (about 8-10 sheets)
• Apples - 3 pcs. (sweet and sour varieties)
• Dried cranberries - 50 g
• Sugar - 100 g
• Butter - 50 g (for caramelization + a little for greasing the dough)
• Cinnamon - 1 tsp.
• Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
• Honey (optional) - 1 tbsp.

Preparation:

1. Preparing the apples:
• Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into small cubes.
• Heat a frying pan, melt the butter (about 30 g) and add the apples. Fry them over medium heat, sprinkling with sugar and cinnamon, until they become soft and caramelized.
• Add lemon juice and dried cranberries, stir and remove from heat. You can add honey for extra sweetness, if desired.
2. Prepare the filo pastry:
