Joanna Tomlinson on Instagram: "⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Miniature Oranges - Tutorial Video. 😄 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here's how I created my Polymer Clay Oranges in my last post. 😁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The tough part of this is getting the cane right. I did a test on the orange colours before making this cane (by baking small amounts of each orange colour). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Extras: - I use translucent white with a small bit of orange + sunflower yellow. Which gave me the pale orange inside colour. - Cut into segments. - Round the top of each segment then add white to one side. - Fill the spaces (at the top) with white. - Add a layer of white + a layer of orange on top of the segments. - Roll out your cane and begin cutting. - Round into a small ball and cut in half. - I detailed each segment with a needle. - Detail the back and bake.
