Sarah | Garden Designer + Educator on Instagram: "If i had to share a quick piece of advice… one that didn’t cost much and… would give an instant lift to your garden … it would be this… Paint your boundary fence ‘black’ or ‘shades of very very dark grey’… To quite one of my boys fav movies😉 It’s a particularly effective tactic in small to medium sized urban gardens… As it helps the fence, and as a result the boundary lines recede… Which is ideal if your yard is an awkward or unusual shape… Dark fences have the added benefit of making the green of your plants in front of it pop.
