I’m a mom, I only work when my daughter is in school and I don’t want to waste the time waiting for wood filler to dry if I can help it. This is an easier, faster and more effective way to fill those old hardware holes. Cut the dowel to the depth of the drawer; hammer it then, before hammering the drawer face, I stick something flat and hard over the dowel (grab a gift card that’s been sitting unused for years!
