No more waiting overnight or for hours for it to develop which is really useful if you're creating a design and realize that you need PERFECT BLACK ICING. This method works for royal icing, buttercream, fondant and whipping cream.

I also had to reupload due to the text disappearing.   🍪 Mix your leftover colors and determine the tone you have, either warm or cool. If warm, had a drop or 2 of blue to change it. Doing so allows you to only need to add a couple drops of black!  🍪If doing red, avoid adding any deep/dark colors. I normally add strictly pinks, yellows, oranges and light browns. Allows you to add less drops of red coloring.  🍪 The important step!! Cover securely and let it sit! The longer the better.
