Today we're looking at an simple yet very impressive water technique, used by Kloou. on Flickr to create turbulent water around a pirate ship. By stacking 1x1 transparent dark blue studs, he creates the shapes of waves and then finishes areas with light blue transparent studs to create wash. The water itself is based on the old technique of using a net to bring a bit of flexibility to a bunch of 1x1 plates + 1x1 rounds. Underneath, there's a short gear sequence connected to 2 rows of spinning technic beams that push the net up.
