3-4 large bell peppers (red, yellow, orange)
1 lbs ground beef
1 lbs mild Italian sausage
16 oz Raos marinara sauce (or marinara of choice)
2 cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 medium red onion, small dice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dry basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Oil for cooking
Toppings:
Pepperoni slices
Sliced olives
Freshly chopped parsley or basil

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Into a large pot, add enough water so it can cover bell peppers when you place them in there. Bring water to a boil.
2. Wash and cut bell peppers in half to make boats. Add to the boiling water and boil for seven minutes. Remove bell peppers and set aside.
