The rats are actually quite easy to make and if you wanted, you could make them into pops (keep them on the small size so that the stick can hold it-just use the instructions for these vampire pops). These are for the hardened chocaholic-I liked the decadent richness of the brownie and the coating of dark chocolate on top and I felt that the red eyes made the rats look a little more sinister-which is why I positioned them gobbling up a severed arm. These rats were made for Angela D's birthday. She wanted a rat cutter based on her own rats. So we made her a custom cutter, based on one of her drawings and then 3D printed it. She asked for 14 rats - 2 of each of the seven rats she's had! As I cut each rat out I twisted the tail, so that each rat is a little unique. These cookies use wet-on-wet, brush painting and layering techniques.
