Tangible interaction

Twins Objects are three pairs of connected devices: Tits Me, Pianoze, and Dual Drums. Nowadays instant messaging is an unmissable actor of our long-distance relationship. However, if we discuss on these platforms with either a very old friend or someone we barely know, result to the same sensory experience. Twins Objects is a quest for new tools of communication, to reassert the worth of human connexions, using the possibilities of the IoT.

Play is a free process for children to explore the world and discover new horizons while they become very absorbed with what they are doing. I believe play has inestimable value and involving more technology could take it to the next level. So I have designed PLAB, a tangible, intuitive and fun toy for kids to explore, experiment, create and play, in a way that enhances their open-ended play and nurtures their creativity. ‘Orbit’ completely alters the music streaming experience! Comprising of two parts and a multitude of sensors, the user controls their music through a series of physical movements and pre-set positions instead of through a touchscreen interface; this beautifully marries the digital music with the physical and tangible product. This is all housed within a beautifully designed product that features subtle lighting cues and well-considered touchpoints.
