Fic readers, what factor mainly influences how you choose whether or not to read a fic (on ao3)?
I read the title
I read the tags
I read the summary
I check the number of kudos
I check the number of comments
I check the number of bookmarks
I check the number of hits
I'm bald/I don't read fic/Any other infinitely nuanced option
See ResultsBy this I mean, what is the most influential on your decision? E.g., for me it is the summary because I rarely pay attention to the title or stats, and only read the tags after I've liked the summary enough to want to give the fic a go.
I read the summary then check tags. Don’t worry about kudos or comments cuz the story might be amazing and just posted at a low traffic time. I have found lots of favorite stories that had low comments/bookmarks/subs/kudos.

I read the summary and then check the tags. But I have everything ordered by bookmarks. At least when I’m looking through older fics. When I look for newer fics I look at tags and summaries and decide to read the fic by those two things alone.
I check the tags before the summary, since the summary could be leaving out something that would either make me really want to read it or make me not want to read it at all

I don’t know who that green haired person on chapter 431 is, but it’s certainly not Izuku.
He didn’t act or talk like Izuku, and didn’t make the choices Izuku would make, and therefore he’s not Izuku. If he’s being controlled by someone or there’s someone disguised as him, I don’t know.
Alright, in all seriousness now, I’m still very much just pretending that chapter doesn’t exist, but in my heart the only way it did was by that person we saw not being Izuku.
Call me delusional or whatever (as you can tell by my username, I’m quite aware) but I’m just protecting my happiness.
That’s all I’m willing to say about that chapter, ever. You won’t see me talking about it, responding to asks about it, or reblogging anything about it from this point on. In this blog, chapter 431 does not exist, it never happened, I have no idea what you’re talking about.
