Sumber daya manusia dipandang sebagai aset yang sangat penting, karena manusia merupakan sumber d... more Sumber daya manusia dipandang sebagai aset yang sangat penting, karena manusia merupakan sumber daya yang dinamis dan selalu dibutuhkan dalam tiap proses produksi barang dan jasa. Persepsi terhadap dukungan organisasi merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi keterikatan kerja yang termasuk ke dalam kelompok sumber daya pekerjaan, yang mengacu pada aspek organisasi dari suatu pekerjaan yang dapat mengurangi tuntutan pekerjaan, meningkatkan kesempatan untuk berkembang dan mencapai tujuan dalam pekerjaan. Selain itu, resiliensi karyawan merupakan faktor lainnya yang termasuk ke dalam kelompok sumber daya personal, yang merupakan penilaian diri positif yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan individu dalam mengontrol lingkungan dan pekerjaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah persepsi terhadap dukungan organisasi dan resiliensi karyawan dapat memprediksi keterikatan kerja. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai Direktorat Sumber Daya Manusia dan Umum di kantor pusat Lembaga Penyiaran Publik Radio Republik Indonesia yang berjumlah 48 pegawai. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi terhadap dukungan organisasi dan resiliensi karyawan berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap keterikatan kerja pada pegawai. Namun, persepsi terhadap dukungan organisasi secara terpisah memberikan kontribusi yang lebih besar daripada resiliensi karyawan.

Human resources are seen as very important assets because humans are a dynamic resource and are always needed in every process of producing goods and services. Perceived organizational support is one of the factors that influence the work engagement that belongs to the group of job resources. In addition, employee resilience is a positive self-assessment related to the ability of individuals to control their environment and work. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate whether perceived organizational support and employee resilience predict work engagement. The samples used in this study were employees of the Directorate of Human Resources and General Affairs at Head Office Public Broadcasting Institution Radio of The Republic of Indonesia, which numbered 48 employees. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that perceived organizational support and employee resilience had a very significant influence on employees’ work engagement. However, perceived organizational support contributed independently to a significantly higher contribution than employee resilience did.

Resiliensi diperlukan bagi mahasiswa agar memiliki kemampuan adaptasi terhadap situasi yang berat dan mengatasi tantangan serta permasalahan-permasalan baik dalam bangku perkuliahan maupun kehidupan pribadinya. Selain itu, diperlukan juga academic self-efficacy dalam diri mahasiswa agar dirinya mampu untuk menyelesaikan masalah-masalah yang dihadapinya yang berhubungan dengan kegiatan perkuliahan dan performansi akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris peran efikasi diri akademik terhadap resiliensi pada mahasiswa. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 146 mahasiswa (41,1% laki-laki dan 58,9% perempuan) dari sejumlah perguruan tinggi di Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi dengan rerata usia 20 tahun (SD = 1,41). Resiliensi dalam penelitian ini diukur menggunakan Skala Resiliensi yang diadaptasi dan diterjemahkan dari The 14-Item Resilience Scale (RS-14), sedangkan efikasi diri akademik diukur menggunakan Skala Efikasi Diri Akademik. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif, t-test, korelasi Pearson, dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri akademik memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam memprediksi resiliensi pada mahasiswa. Beberapa saran dan rekomendasi berdasarkan temuan penelitian didiskusikan.

Students will face some problems in their studies. Students need resilience in order to adapt for a serious problem and overcome some problems in their study and their life. In addition, students also need academic self-efficacy in themselves to overcome their problems related to academic activity and their academic performance. This research was conducted to explore the role of academic self-efficacy toward resilience on college students in Indonesia. The subject comprised 146 students (41.1% male and 58.9% female) of some colleges in several cities in Indonesia, i.e. Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi with mean age is 20 year (SD = 1.41). Resilience Scale, translated and adapted from The 14-Item Resilience Scale (RS-14), and Academic Self-efficacy Scale were used to measure resilience and academic self-efficacy among subjects. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic, t-test, Pearson correlation, and simple regression analyses. The resulting finds showed that academic self-efficacy has a significant role in predicting resilience among college students. Several suggestions and recommendations are discussed.

Salah satu masalah yang timbul yang berkaitan dengan sumber daya manusia adalah turnover. Karyawa... more Salah satu masalah yang timbul yang berkaitan dengan sumber daya manusia adalah turnover. Karyawan yang melakukan turnover biasanya disebabkan karena adanya beban kerja yang berlebihan. Banyaknya tuntutan-tuntutan pekerjaan yang harus dipenuhi oleh karyawan menyebabkan karyawan merasa terbebani dan menimbul-kan adanya intensi untuk meninggalkan perusahaan guna mencari pekerjaan yang lebih baik daripada pekerjaan sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeta-hui hubungan antara persepsi terhadap beban kerja dengan turnover intention pada karyawan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah karyawan dengan klasifikasi jabatan sekelas staff atau di bawah supervisor perusahaan dengan penghasilan yang kurang dari Rp 5.000.000/bulan. Pengambilan sampel dengan non-probability sampling, yaitu pur-posive sampling. Hasil analisis korelasi Product Moment Pearson menunjukkan ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara persepsi terhadap beban kerja dengan turnover intention pada karyawan. Dengan demikian, semakin tinggi persepsi terhadap be-ban kerja maka, semakin tinggi pula turnover intention karyawan. Dan juga sebaliknya, semakin rendah persepsi terhadap beban kerja maka, semakin rendah pula turnover intention karyawan.

One of the issues that arise on human resources is turnover. Employees who do turnover are usually caused by excessive workload. The number of job demands causes employees to feel overwhelmed and cause the intention to leave the company to find a better job than previous jobs. This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of workload with employee turnover intention. Samples were employees with classification class office staff or under the supervisor of companies with revenue of less than Rp 5.000.000/month. Sampling with non-probability sampling, are purpo-sive sampling. Based on the result of Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis shows that there is a significant positive relationship between perceptions of workload with employee turnover intention. Thus, the higher perception of the workload then, also higher the employee's turnover intention. And vice versa, the lower perception of the workload, also lower the employee's turnover intention.

One social media platform that is still highly favored by most people in this day and age is Inst... more One social media platform that is still highly favored by most people in this day and age is Instagram. Instagram users can present themselves in a visual form (eg, pictures and video) and text. Instagram promotes visual use, coupled with editing features which enable Instagram users to present themselves distinctly on social media. Friendship-contingent self-esteem is an important factor in presenting one's behavior in the context of friendly relations. However, there are negative impacts of use of social networking sites, such as lowering self-esteem, which is mediated by the fear of losing or fear of missing out (FoMO). This study aims to analyze the influence of friendship-contingent self-esteem and fear of missing out on self-presentation of Instagram users. Participants of this study were 326 male and female Instagram users spread across several provinces in Indonesia. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to construct an empirical model of friendship-contingent self-esteem, fear of missing out, and self-presentation which fits the data. Results show adequate goodness of fit, however, the only variable found to influence self-presentation was only fear of missing out. Friendship-contingent self-esteem was found to affect the fear of missing out, while friendship-contingent self-esteem did not affect self-presentation.
Salah satu media sosial yang hingga saat ini masih digemari oleh kebanyakan orang, yaitu Instagram. Di Instagram para pengguna dapat mempresentasikan dirinya dalam bentuk visual (misal, gambar dan video) dan tulisan. Instagram sangat mengedepankan visual dalam penggunaannya, ditambah dengan fitur-fitur edit yang ada pada Instagram membuat para penggunanya memiliki perbedaan dalam mempresentasikan dirinya di media sosial. Friendship-contingent self-esteem merupakan faktor penting dalam mempresentasikan diri perilaku seseorang dalam konteks hubungan persahabatan. Namun, adapun dampak dari penggunaan situs jaringan sosial dapat menurunkan self-esteem seseorang yang dimediasi oleh rasa takut kehilangan atau fear of missing out (FoMO). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh friendship-contingent self-esteem dan fear of missing out terhadap self-presentation pengguna instagram. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 326 orang pria dan wanita pengguna Instagram yang tersebar di beberapa provinsi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk mengonstruksi model empiris friendship-contingent self-esteem, fear of missing out, dan self-presentation yang fit dengan data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkan goodness of fit yang baik, namun demikian setelah ditelaah lebih lanjut yang berpengaruh pada variabel self-presentation hanya fear of missing out. Sedangkan friendship-contingent self-esteem berpengaruh terhadap fear of missing out, dan friendship-contingent self-esteem tidak berpengaruh terhadap self-presentation.

Umumnya, mahasiswa menggunakan media sosial Path untuk mengungkapkan diri atau menunjukkan keterbukaan diri. Keterbukaan diri merupakan pengungkapan diri kepada orang lain sehingga individu dapat saling memahami satu sama lainnya. Keterbukaan diri yang dilakukan oleh pengguna media sosial Path juga dilatar belakangi oleh berbagai macam, salah satunya adalah tipe kepribadian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tipe kepribadian dan keterbukaan diri pengguna media sosial Path dan peran jenis kelamin dalam memoderasi tipe kepribadian dan keterbukaan diri pengguna media sosial Path pada mahasiswa. Sampel berjumlah 98 mahasiswa tersebar di beberapa Perguruan Tinggi di Jakarta, Depok, dan Bekasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi Product Moment Pearson dan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara tipe kepribadian introvert dan keterbukaan diri pengguna media sosial Path. Sedangkan, tipe kepribadian ekstrovert tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan pada keterbukaan diri pengguna media sosial Path. Ini berarti, individu yang semakin cenderung introvert maka keterbukaan dirinya di media sosial Path akan semakin sering. Jenis kelamin terbukti secara negatif dan signifikan memoderasi dan memperlemah hubungan tipe kepribadiaan ekstrovert dan keterbukaan diri pengguna media sosial Path. Laki-laki cenderung ekstrovert dan perempuan cenderung introvert.

The emergence of social media also marks the progress of communication without the limitation of space and time, such as social media Path. Generally, the students use the Path to disclosure or show the openness of themselves. Self-disclosure is self-expression to others so that people can understand each other. Self-disclosure made by users on social media Path is also motivated by a wide range, one of which is the personality type. This study aims to determine the relationship between personality types and self-disclosure on social media Path users and the role of gender in moderating the personality types and self-disclosure on social media Path users on college students. Samples amount 98 college students in several colleges in Jakarta, Depok, and Bekasi. Analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that there was a negative significance of relationship introvert personality type and self-disclosure on social media Path users. Meanwhile, the extrovert personality type did not have a significant on self-disclosure on social media Path users. This means, people increasingly tend to be introverted then her openness in the social media Path will be more frequent. Gender also had an interaction on the extrovert personality type and self-disclosure on social media Path users. Gender as a moderator proved to be negative significantly moderate and weaken relations extrovert personality type and self-disclosure on social media Path users. Males tend to be more extroverted and females tend to be more introverted.

E-commerce in Indonesia is growing rapidly and has become the largest market capitalization in So... more E-commerce in Indonesia is growing rapidly and has become the largest market capitalization in Southeast Asia and has the highest growth rates in the world. This fast growth has also led to foreign direct investment in Indonesia, which has entered various Indonesian e-commerce sites. Gamification strategies have become extremely popular in the e-commerce industry. Although studies have been conducted on how gamification elements impact e-commerce, there needs to be more focus on how Millennials and Z generations play games. We interviewed 16 Indonesian university students to discover game-playing behaviors on e-commerce applications. Transcribed interviews were evaluated thematically using an inductive coding approach. We cluster the thematic analysis into five different headings-frequency of playing games, played gamification models, reward systems, preference of daily login systems, and preference of mission systems. The finding shows that our participants soon became bored and closed the app, even though they played the fixed-reward gamification model daily. Participants prefer special discount vouchers as a reward system because they can cut the total shopping price. The daily login and task/mission systems are popular with our users because they get rewards quickly and in different ways. This study contributes to evaluate the future gamification model and helps organizations in the e-commerce industry.

This study focuses on the usability of the smartwatch device in long-term use. Five participants ... more This study focuses on the usability of the smartwatch device in long-term use. Five participants were asked to wear the smartwatch every day and write daily diary entries for 30 days. This study aims to understand how people use and interact with the smartwatch features and how this affects their emotional experience. We found a significant relationship between smartwatch features and emotional experience: smartwatch features are positively and negatively related to users' emotional experience. The results show that participants primarily use mental health and well-being, and contextual alert features to enhance their performance and increase productivity. Participants respond to the renewal event with immediate response, body health monitoring, and physical activity tracking features. When participants experience burnout and discomfort, they take the smartwatch off. This study contributes to the evaluation of the design of further smartwatch technologies by improving the user experience and interaction.

One of the issues that arise on human resources is turnover. Employees who do turnover are usually caused by excessive workload. The number of job demands causes employees to feel overwhelmed and cause the intention to leave the company to find a better job than previous jobs. This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of workload with employee turnover intention. Samples were employees with classification class office staff or under the supervisor of companies with revenue of less than Rp 5.000.000/month. Sampling with non-probability sampling, are purpo-sive sampling. Based on the result of Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis shows that there is a significant positive relationship between perceptions of workload with employee turnover intention. Thus, the higher perception of the workload then, also higher the employee's turnover intention. And vice versa, the lower perception of the workload, also lower the employee's turnover intention.
Salah satu media sosial yang hingga saat ini masih digemari oleh kebanyakan orang, yaitu Instagram. Di Instagram para pengguna dapat mempresentasikan dirinya dalam bentuk visual (misal, gambar dan video) dan tulisan. Instagram sangat mengedepankan visual dalam penggunaannya, ditambah dengan fitur-fitur edit yang ada pada Instagram membuat para penggunanya memiliki perbedaan dalam mempresentasikan dirinya di media sosial. Friendship-contingent self-esteem merupakan faktor penting dalam mempresentasikan diri perilaku seseorang dalam konteks hubungan persahabatan. Namun, adapun dampak dari penggunaan situs jaringan sosial dapat menurunkan self-esteem seseorang yang dimediasi oleh rasa takut kehilangan atau fear of missing out (FoMO). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh friendship-contingent self-esteem dan fear of missing out terhadap self-presentation pengguna instagram. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 326 orang pria dan wanita pengguna Instagram yang tersebar di beberapa provinsi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk mengonstruksi model empiris friendship-contingent self-esteem, fear of missing out, dan self-presentation yang fit dengan data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkan goodness of fit yang baik, namun demikian setelah ditelaah lebih lanjut yang berpengaruh pada variabel self-presentation hanya fear of missing out. Sedangkan friendship-contingent self-esteem berpengaruh terhadap fear of missing out, dan friendship-contingent self-esteem tidak berpengaruh terhadap self-presentation.

The emergence of social media also marks the progress of communication without the limitation of space and time, such as social media Path. Generally, the students use the Path to disclosure or show the openness of themselves. Self-disclosure is self-expression to others so that people can understand each other. Self-disclosure made by users on social media Path is also motivated by a wide range, one of which is the personality type. This study aims to determine the relationship between personality types and self-disclosure on social media Path users and the role of gender in moderating the personality types and self-disclosure on social media Path users on college students. Samples amount 98 college students in several colleges in Jakarta, Depok, and Bekasi. Analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that there was a negative significance of relationship introvert personality type and self-disclosure on social media Path users. Meanwhile, the extrovert personality type did not have a significant on self-disclosure on social media Path users. This means, people increasingly tend to be introverted then her openness in the social media Path will be more frequent. Gender also had an interaction on the extrovert personality type and self-disclosure on social media Path users. Gender as a moderator proved to be negative significantly moderate and weaken relations extrovert personality type and self-disclosure on social media Path users. Males tend to be more extroverted and females tend to be more introverted.
