MK is doing just fine! He’s had no trauma outside of Lady Bone Demon (plus Hunter getting stabbed in front of him…) and is living a relatively normal life outside of the occasional demon fight and training. He’s going steady with Red Son and outside of dates or hangouts or training, he spends a lot of time lurking around the Shadow Theatre for the chance to antagonize Jack when Hunters not looking.
Later today I plan on releasing a “Before and After” piece as a sort of tribute to how Hunter and MK’s brotherly bond has evolved since the series first started-so keep your eyes peeled!

There's a common fandom in toh fandom that all the Golden Guards were all Good and, honestly, I always felt that cheapen Hunter's character growth since that bassically say that Hunter is good by nature not by choice, if that make sense
I really enjoy your darker take on Hunter, he's been raised to be an attack dog and that does things to a person

I tend to make two classifications for Golden Guards and how Belos chooses to raise them based on how early they came out.
Three and below-heartless killers raised only to follow orders
Four and above/clear personality quirks-raised to be Caleb substitutes meant to make Belos feel better about himself for a while
DT Hunter is grouped into that first category-and due to that, killing someone is always an option for solving problems because he doesn’t see anything wrong with doing that. He considers killing Hannibal a “warning shot” against the Heylin, and only permanently damaged Wuya’s eye so she could still run and tell the forces of evil what happened
…he doesn’t really consider how killing certain beings could backfire on him though. He’s more focused on keeping those he loves safe by any means necessary
