Being a Light Season means lighter makeup than other Seasons. Light is not near-white in this context. Too pale is draining and chalky.

Forest green is too sharp and obviously a cosmetic most of the time. This is a grayer, browner green, for instance, Jungle from the Blueprints line.

Choosing the Best Gray……First thing I ask myself when I’m trying to put a grey into a personal color analysis Season is: “Does it contain any color other than B&W?” (Note: As long as you can place it among the 4 True Seasons, it'll adapt nicely w/the rest of the outfit.)………Summer’s grey is easy to pick out. There will be a WASH OF BLUE, PINK, or MAUVE. Even the taupes, which go from grayer oyster to Portobello mushroom are pinkish.
