JOX running shoes were all the rage in the mid 70s & early 80s. Their greatest popularity was with us school kids -- we wore them to be "in style" but runners and athletes hated them because they were made like crap. JOX were introduced by Thom McAn, America's largest shoe store chain at the time with over 1,400 locations, and a manufacturer of its own branded footwear with 10 US factories. Eventually JOX faded as Nike Cortez became the "in" sneaker. The last Thom McAn stores closed in 1996. Thom Mcan Shoes Vintage, 80s Nike Shoes, Sneaker Ads, Vintage Sports Clothing, Amazing Toys, Us School, Bowling Shoes, Popular Sneakers, Hit And Run
