It is my pleasure to announce the following J.R.R. Tolkien and Fantasy Inspired Art Exhibition: Castles in the Mist

House Arryn Sigil - Falcon Flying into Half Crescent Moon Motto "As High As Honour" After watching the awesome Game of Thrones series I became slightly obsessed with each of the House's and their identity or sigil. Having found the houses and thier representative sigils. I set about creating a vector for each one of them and creating a poster. I hope you like them as much as I do.

The Eyrie is the principal stronghold of House Arryn. It is located in the Vale of Arryn near the east coast of Westeros. The Eyrie straddles the top of a peak in the Mountains of the Moon several thousand feet above the valley floor below. It is approached by a narrow causeway and road. Those who would approach the Eyrie must pass through three way-castles guarding the ascent - and then, must proceed in single file, making them very vulnerable to archers...

The Eyrie is the seat of House Arryn in The Vale. It is situated in the Mountains of the Moon on a shoulder of the peak known as the Giant's Lance, several thousand feet above the valley below. Although small compared to the seats of other Great Houses in Westeros, the Eyrie is considered impregnable to attack.
