Sólheimasandur Plane Wreck

Not far from Vik i Myrdal and the famous black sand beach, Reynisfjara, on the South Coast of Iceland, you'll find the American DC3 plane wreck 🛩️ The wreck has been in Solheimasandur since it made an emergency landing in 1973. Luckily, everyone survived.
