The forms are still in place for the 5" reinforced concrete roof that was poured yesterday. The roof was given a crown to allow water to run off to the sides and is actually closer to 8" at the center. Before I backfill, I'm planning on attaching 2" of rigid foam insulation panels to the outside of the concrete roof and on the top 4' of the outside of the rear and side walls, then covering it all with a 6mil plastic barrier. This extra insulation should help keep the temperature constant - e...
