You have to try this soup! Seriously, it's delicious, creamy, hearty, cheap to make, easy to make, healthy...the list goes on. This humble soup is one of my favorite things to make and eat. It has a creamy consistency but doesn't use any cream, flour, or butter - it's just blended potatoes and carrots that make the thick and silky base for this soup. Add in some chopped cabbage, beans, and a little pasta and you're good to go. Ton's of vitamins in these veggies and it's so budget friendly.

This soup is one I make often. In Portugal, soup is king, and there are many recipes and variations of this one. A popular name for this soup is sopa Juliana, but since I have made a few alterations, it is simply my cabbage soup.
