Boundaries are a good thing, especially if its dealing with family and there is drama, negativity, toxicity. If they get mad, yes, its a good sign that the boundary was necessary. I do not allow negativity into my world and put boundaries when necessary...even if its with family. Boundaries are important to your emotional, mental, physical, financial, and relational well being. You are not “wrong” for placing them. You are honoring yourself by doing so.

Yo Momma Say Please Remember You are NOT the One, or the Two. Don’t forget, boundaries are designed to protect us from the external BS that seeks to deplete us on our journey of growth and self-love. Boundaries are not an attack on the other person. It is perfectly fine to remind them of why you set those boundaries. Inner Peace is good, and you are worth the struggle.
