To help you get a bouncy, frizz-free style every time, we called in hair experts Naté Bova, senior stylist at Warren Tricomi Salon in NYC, and Monique Rodriguez, creator of haircare brand Mielle Organics, for their take on common twist out no-nos.

K I M • Hair + Fashion + Beauty on Instagram: "✨ HEATLESS TWIST ’N CURL ✨ Tried my hand at a twist & curl set and surprisingly it came out pretty good! Here’s what I did: 1- On freshly washed, towed-blotted hair, I applied Not Your Mother’s Curl Defining Cream 2- Took medium sized chunks of hair and detangled with a paddle brush. Then applied Aussie Headstrong Volume Mousse to each section 3- Made a 2 strand twist, then rolled up 2 twists at a time with a perm rod (leaving a little slack at the roots) 4- Let air dry overnight, then removed the rods and used olive oil coated hands to untwist and separate the hair.  5- Fluff, shape, slick down edges and VOILA! 💕 Full tutorial video on my Youtube Channel! #naturalhair" Perm Rods On Dry Natural Hair, Overnight Twist Curls, 2 Strand Twist Styles Natural, Perm Rods On Natural Hair, 2 Strand Twist Styles, 2 Strand Twist, Volume Mousse, 3 Strand Twist, Dry Natural Hair
