Typography song lyrics

This is a font poster I created while in my Typography class in college. I created the font in a program called Type Tool so it is an actual working font. After we created the font, we were supposed to created a poster showcasing what the font looked like. I named my font Open Up, which is named after a song by the band Dispatch. I used lyrics from the song to show all of my uppercase and lowercase letters that I created.

When I was younger I was obsessed with Reebok Pumps (still fascinated to this day, actually). I remember that my mom wouldn’t buy me the real pumps, so I’d always have to settle for the generic brand which wasn’t nearly as cool and I probably couldn’t jump as high either.
