This method is especially handy when you’re working with long cords as it eliminates the need to pull the entire length of each cord through the knot 🙌

In this case I’m tying diagonal clove hitch knots starting from the left side

1. Move the filler cord (outer cord on the left) out of the way. This won’t be needed until later.
2. Take the first working cord (second cord in from the left) and make a loop behind itself, then make another loop further down in front of itself.
3. Bring these 2 loops together (like you’re closing a book) and slide them over your pointer finger on your left hand.
