My Merry merch tier list !

This list will go from most to least favorite type of merch I have and I’ll present my reasons but do note that I still love them all , I’m just a naturally picky person when it comes to merch in general ૮ ◞ ﻌ ◟ ა

S Tier :

• Dog Plush: 10/10 I love plushies and dressing it up so it’s a nice decoration that got enough usage points for me and cute to look at constantly.
• Drawn Standees: 10/10 I love these types of standees that have unique poses and outfits and the different artstyle is always a plus!

A Tier :

• Buttons : I love buttons and their always nice to have an fill up an ita bag , however I give these 8/10 since most of the time it’s just a smaller image of a larger piece so it’s not a unique design.
• Keychains: these a super fun to have but once again 8/10 due to them not having too many usage factors.

B Tier:

• Enamel pin: Now i love these definitely and i love the material, but it’s a 6/10 because the colors never fully please me .

C Tier:

• Posters: now the art is phenomenal and it’s super cute to have in a room but somehow leads me to property damage,so it’s 5/10
• Gamer cup: the art is good but the damage it takes is a bit easy and usage is definitely depending on person so for me it’s like a trophy at most times so 4/10

D Tier :

• Corpo standee : I hate them … listen I love my oshi but to have a standee of them just standing and ominously staring at me ?? Pass 2/10

Honorable mentions:

- Tie merch: 4/10 didn’t buy because what am i realistically using it for I don’t have suits lmao

- Merry themed pc: 10/10 it would cost me a legitimate arm and leg before I could even attempt buying it

-postcards: 7/10 their cute and tiny messages are sweet but I’m just not their fan for collecting but I’ll still collect them if that makes sense.

-Ramen bowl: 10/10 im hella broke need I say more ? I WANT IT

Doberry is the most peak ship and here’s why

As a more earlier gen fan of Merry, Doberry (Dobre+Merry) has and will probably always stay as my core favorite ship and this is due to one simple thing: development

I’m not so much a fan of ships that just happen because the crowd is going “HELL YEA NOW FK” but that’s not to say I hate ships like that at all , I’m a vet fujo and your bound to see me in that same crowd at some point ,come on.

However the development of watching EARLY Doberry and the slow burn between them was definitely something I deeply admired because it always came off as a cute foreign puppy begging this huge Doberman to acknowledge him and that on its own is endearing. It was even sweeter watching their interactions because it’s always leads to Dudu being flustered in the end or hearing Merry announce him as his husband . Moreover, the outfits YOU DONT UNDERSTAND how much their outfits had a grip on me because they always gave major matching couple core.

Anyways thier dynamic has always been iconic to me , sure some may just see it as listener x yapper but it’s so much more.This was agressively wife x husband , like you’d swear they were married but only Dobre got media training to keep it under wraps. And that also brought out so many funny references like Dobre’s “im straight” hat.

Overall 11/10 funny yet sweet ship that I will deem the best seeing as this is my page lol , but love what you like ofc and have fun shipping ⚔️🐶🖊️

Note: I wanna state before anyone takes this as “omg ur shipping two real ppl” im not it’s just the characters and their silly interactions nothing more after that let’s get a grip here.

Here’s my lore AND headcannons for his pony sona

Merryweather ,is a past student of Celestias school for gifted unicorns. He then dropped out after becoming bored with the prospects of becoming a wizard through strenuous studies, he caught wind that there was hidden magic artifacts in the world that could unleash his true potential. He’s now on a journey to find it in order to bring a new type of magic into the world titled “wish making” where his elaborate stories and dreams may come true with a forever “happy ending” for everyone.

Headcannons:

• Inkdog is basically just a Spike scenario but technically an eternal baby
• unceremoniously married to a Duke in foreign lands
• Gets asked constantly if he’s from Canterlot but realistically just has tiny Canterlot accent
• Big fashionista for suits
• Would use the alicorn amulet for his true goal, to break reality and make stories become real
• would have gaps of knowledge for certain spells
• Hopes to one day write a comic that outranks the Daring Doo series
• Taller than the average stallion but uses spells to make himself shorter to blend in when traveling
• dresses up the inkdog in baby clothes
• Commutes via walking because teleporting makes him motion sick
