I know the reds and blues aren't the brightest guys but i have to seriously wonder what was going through Donut's head when he told the pilot to leave in season 11. Why would you do that 😭
Not “Only my reading of canon is correct” or “Interpretations are subjective and all valid” but a secret third thing, “More than one interpretation can be valid but there’s a reason your English teacher had you cite quotes and examples in your papers, you have to have a strong argument that your interpretation is actually supported by the text or it is just wrong and I’m fine with telling you it’s wrong, actually.”
If the text says the curtains are blue you can argue about what that means; but if you’re going to claim they’re actually yellow you’d better have a really good argument.
Genuinely I think one of the best things you can do to build characters in your story is give them a kink. You do not have to put that kink in the story. You do not have to tell anyone but yourself. But thinking about their wants and needs and what would bring them comfort or desire, about whether they crave power or crave a situation where they're blessedly free from any power, about which taboo they might kind of want to cross, is really useful for getting inside their head. Also "what situation would make my character stupid horny enough to make a terrible mistake?" is a good plotting device. "It's a plot hole that they made that dumb decision" no they were just whistling like a lustful kettle and forgot to turn their brain on.
look if all of the blood gulch crew was in modern day they would get into its always sunny type scenarios. there is no place in hell where they would be normal. they would accidentally turn their bar into a gay bar
restoration was like the good place for everyone. torturing them then giving them what they "want" which in turn tortures them more. everyone in rvb went to hell and this is their punishment
Tucker and Carolina should like, talk. To each other. Just sit around a fire and talk about what's on their mind. I just feel like Carolina would be a really good emotional leader mentor counterpart to Wash being the logical leader mentor; and besides that, I think they could be good friends. I think Caboose wakes up first naturally but either needs help with something or wants company or is just Loud in General so he wakes Church up because otherwise Church would just stay in bed all day but now he won't & will help Caboose with whatever and Tucker wakes up last because either A) Church is yelling a lot, B) Caboose is yelling a lot, or C) Both of them are loud people and yelling (most common answer) and this is just the Routine. Donut WOULD get the ugliest pink car in the history of man wouldn't he. I bet his fashion sense is actually glitter vomit and eyestrain. Those ugly ass plastic-looking platforms that you just HAVE to get because they look so bad. That's his aesthetic. Early 2000's fashion so bad it's good but only ironically but he does it unironically
