Because while Sirius is still deep in denial and internalized homophobia, he's convincing himself like "it's okay, i'm not gay, anyone would want to kiss Remus once in a while, he's just objectively hot"

Except Remus is awkward and quiet when not around friends, he's too tall like he grew up too fast and doesn't know what to do with this extra height, his scars scare people away, he wears grandpa sweaters, drinks tea in his free time and goes to sleep at 9 pm, he can't flirt for the life of him (even though he could bc he's witty and sarcastic) because he has no self-confidence and it shows.

He's basically a loser (affectionate) and Sirius is like "it's okay, no need to panic, he's the sexiest man on earth but that's just an astute observation, no gay thoughts here"

and i just think that's funny as hell

I recently bought an art book on Caspar David Friedrich, whose emotional work stuck with me since I first saw it in a museum years ago. Over the course of a few weeks, I read about his life and at the same time did studies/interpretations of many pieces. It was a really enjoyable and fulfilling project; here's a good lot of them together :)

I was happy to see many people enjoyed Friedrich's work+my interpretations while posting them individually. It took way too long, but I FINALLY set up a print shop for some of these + some other pieces for those who expressed interest. Thank you so much!

Remus has terrible posture. Sirius is always behind him, fixing it—hands on his shoulders with a strong yet gentle touch that lingers just a little too long. Remus never corrects it, because he loves the way Sirius touches him.

i’ve said it before, and i’ll say it again: i love remus with mobility aids. it makes me so happy to see actual rep of a character i love using them. whether it’s a cane, crutches, leg brace(s), literally anything! whenever i see art or read hcs or fics where he uses them, it warms my heart.

extra points if the marauders all carry around something with them in case he forgets (i.e. a knee brace, collapsible cane, etc.)

tbh the way I think of wolfstar fighting is that sirius gets mean and remus shuts down. and sirius just keeps getting meaner to get any kind of reaction.

my favourite part of the hobbit movies is seeing Thorin looking tiny next to the elves and humans like awww he's just a little guy :)) he's so little and small and he has mental issues :)))
