Atlanta Dream In The Community

Our Purpose as the Atlanta Dream is to serve a greater cause than wins and losses, and together with our fans, our champions, and our partners, we aim to bring energy, visibility, and resources to the sport of women's basketball.

We are the right team, in the right city to lead the charge. From the heart of the civil rights movement to the center of tech growth. From music, to the fashion to the food scene...Atlanta is the place where culture is curated, and we are the city, the team and the brand to authentically reflect this diverse and inclusive community.

Our Vision

The Atlanta Dream is committed to building championship athletes and an organization that represents the people and communities we seek to serve. We will back up our words with our actions, continue to lift the voices of under-served communities and work to empower women through the sport of basketball.   Our athletes and employees do it for each other. We do it for Atlanta. We do it for girls and women everywhere, and we do it for the Dream.

Community Pillars

GROWING THE GAME

Through the sport of basketball, we aim to provide access, resources, coaching, mentoring and advocacy to girls and women to help them reach their own potential.

WE EXIST TO EMPOWER WOMEN THROUGH SPORT

The Dream will leverage the power of sport, the love of basketball and the dedication to lift women in Atlanta by creating programs that celebrate them, showcasing the journey of our athletes to inspire them to break barriers, and aligning with businesses, community partners and organizations that will help us accelerate change.

EQUALITY FOR ALL

We aim to enhance the well-being of under-represented communities in ATL (specifically women and people of color) through equal access and economic opportunity.
