L’efficacité, la qualité, la flexibilité et la disponibilité constituent les fondements de la réu... more L’efficacité, la qualité, la flexibilité et la disponibilité constituent les fondements de la réussite de toute entreprise. Ainsi, afin de s’assurer sur le bon déroulement de différentes tâches confiées aux opérateurs, les industriels mettent à disposition de leurs employés des nombreux outils d’assistance, tout au long du cycle de vie du produit, notamment des outils d’acquisition et de capitalisation des connaissances métiers. Cependant, suite à une augmentation exponentielle des possibilités de ces outils, leur accès par les opérateurs est rendu de plus en plus complexe. De plus, il est très difficile de trouver l’information dont l’opérateur a besoin au bon moment afin de pouvoir agir et interagir avec le produit / le service / le process sur lequel il travaille. Nos travaux de recherches visent à mettre en place un système d’informations – un PLM avancé – se basant sur une nouvelle façon de modéliser et de structurer la Connaissance. Notre proposition scientifique se veut dynamique afin de permettre à chaque intervenant de pouvoir accéder et réutiliser un ensemble personnalisable des connaissances sur n’importe quelle phase du cycle de vie de produit. La finalité de notre projet consiste en la création d’un agent intelligent que nous dénommons « compagnon d’entreprise» qui assistera l’opérateur dans ses tâches quotidiennes, indépendamment de son expertise et de son niveau de maturité, tout en interagissant avec l’ensemble du système d’information dans un environnement ubiquitaire et en utilisant des techniques avancées de prise de décision et d’évaluation des performances. Il s’agit de penser l’usine du futur.

Consequently, the use of innovative Knowledge Management Systems based on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in the factory environment has become a must. Our research work will focus on the development of a "digital factory assistant" to help factory's actors in their daily tasks and in particular tasks that demand to make a decision.

Cependant, malgré les grands efforts réalisés par les éditeurs de logiciels sur les aspects ergonomiques, l'augmentation exponentielle des fonctionnalités de ces outils d'assistance rend leur accès et leur manipulation par les opérateurs de plus en plus complexe. De plus, il est très difficile de trouver l'information dont l'opérateur a besoin au bon moment afin de pouvoir interagir avec le produit ou le processus sur lequel il travaille. Les développements récents dans les domaines de la réalité virtuelle et la réalité augmentée peuvent amener une grande assistance aux utilisateurs pour leur faciliter la représentation et la manipulation des informations dont ils ont besoin. C'est particulièrement le cas quand il s'agit des opérateurs ne maitrisant pas forcement les systèmes d'information classiques. Dans ce contexte, l'objectif de nos travaux est de concevoir et développer un " compagnon virtuel d'entreprise ". Ce concept se traduit par un système d'aide à la décision supporté par les atouts des TIC et de la réalité virtuelle afin d'assister les opérateurs dans la réalisation de leurs tâches quotidiennes. Les Systèmes d'Aide à la Décision (SAD) sont des systèmes qui se caractérisent par une grande capacité de raisonnement dans le but de fournir aux utilisateurs l'ensemble des informations nécessaires à la réalisation des tâches complexes de prise de décision.

The purpose of this paper is to prospect the interoperability mechanisms offered by PTC editor as a solution to interoperability issue. A new interoperability framework is proposed as a Webservice based solution using the capacities embedded in the Windchill Info*Engine mechanisms and J2EE application technology.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the advantage of linking augmented reality application, to help employees on their daily tasks. This involves the connections with the existing components of the information system in the factory, especially PLM system used to handle the CAD models. Some principles of solutions are proposed to show how the integrative frameworks can support the realization of manufacturing activities.

In dynamic working environments such as factory production lines, the process of decision-making ... more In dynamic working environments such as factory production lines, the process of decision-making combines different types of data and knowledge available in different forms. In many cases, elements impacting decisions are not totally mastered by the decision support system since the activity of the user is highly influenced by the dynamic change of the production system. Thus, in order to set the appropriate context elements surrounding different working situations of factory actors, this paper proposes a context model aiming to represents user’s activity and the circumstances under the decision-making process. The literature of related works highlighted the advantages of context-awareness in supporting the dynamic adaptation of information according to user’s context. The proposed model in this paper takes advantage from the context notion and the fundaments of the activity theory proposed in cognitive science. The intended model is used in an intelligent assistant system dedicated to assist factory workers in the manufacturing process. The main purpose of the context model is to help the assistant system in handling the process of knowledge adaptation and therefore, avoiding the problems of overload and misinterpretation of the information.

The integration of knowledge and decision support systems in the whole factory process appears as a key for the factory of the future. The basic concept of our research work is facilitating interactions between the human being in critical working situations and information set in the factory. Our proposition is to develop a “digital factory assistant” to provide factory actors with the right information, in the right time and place. Our purpose is to build a generic factory model based on context awareness and decision support models and then create relevant information and knowledge extraction mechanisms. In this paper we discuss the conceptual architecture of the desired information system.
