Therefore, components of the patriarchal thought system such as dualist, discriminatory, and hierarchical elements have been dominant and preventing it from reaching its full potential. The genre not only developed difficult-to-break schemes, but also it gradually took on a dystopian form and began to destroy hopes for the future. So, many countercultural movements both in real life and in literature, such as ecofeminism and the New Wave movement have begun to respond to this situation. Although the impact of their resistance could not last long, it is resurrected in the twenty-first century eventually under the name of Solarpunk. It is a derivative of Cyberpunk and is affected by other punk subgenres. This new subgenre uses speculative narratives to find solutions to today's problems, focusing on the interdependence of environmental destruction and social inequalities. As a result, it has an ecofeminist thought in its philosophy that is not highlighted enough in academic studies and this aspect becomes increasingly dominant in each new anthology. Throughout this analysis, the importance of Solarpunk for the well-being of the world and all living things in it will be emphasized because the subgenre recognizes that what can not be imagined can not be managed. Therefore, it directs its readers to critical thinking, instills hope, and motivates them to take action by presenting positive future visions through sensitive discourse. Selected stories from four anthologies, including the first and last anthologies, will be analyzed to understand the growing influence of ecofeminism in Solarpunk, which uses narratives as a method of activism. Its narratives' similarities with critical utopias that emerged with the New Wave movement are shown, and it will be proved that it is the most important subgenre within the punk subgenres, allowing the true potential of science fiction to emerge. Keywords: Solarpunk, Ecofeminism, Science Fiction, Critical Utopia, Cyberpunk, Steampunk, Dieselpunk

He currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where he owns and operates Refik Anadol Studio and RAS LAB, the Studio's research practice centered around discovering and developing trailblazing approaches to data narratives and artificial intelligence. Anadol is also a lecturer for UCLA's Department of Design Media Arts from which he obtained his second Master of Fine Arts. Anadol's body of work addresses the challenges, and the possibilities, that ubiquitous computing has imposed on humanity, and what it means to be a human in the age of AI. He explores how the perception and experience of time and space are radically changing now that machines dominate our everyday lives. Anadol is intrigued by the ways in which the digital age and machine intelligence allow for a new aesthetic technique to create enriched immersive environments that offer a dynamic perception of space. By proposing the possibility of "post-digital architecture," Anadol invites his audience to imagine alternative realities by redefining the functionalities of both interior and exterior architectural elements. He tackles this by moving beyond the integration of media into built forms and translating the logic of a new media technology into art and design, particularly his works explore the space among digital and physical entities by creating a hybrid relationship between architecture and media arts with machine intelligence.

Because of the popularity of this fiction, film noir has become an accepted genre in Hollywood. In these movies, famous detectives like Sam Spade by representing American pioneer's characteristics, appear cynical, violent, and isolated figures. After the 1950s, these types of detective characters continue to dominate the film industry. Tech-noir, a hybrid of film noir and cyberpunk, emerged as a new genre, and especially with "Blade Runner" hard-boiled American detectives again appear as protagonists. In the late 2010s, the sequel to this film, "Blade Runner: 2049," takes a different approach to this scheme. These hard-boiled detectives changed both physically and psychologically as technology advanced. This research paper aims to examine this change by comparing the detective figures such as Sam Spade from 1940s America and Replicant K, a post-human detective in a post-apocalyptic America.

The common definition of death is “the absence of life” or “the suspension or cessation of vital processes of the body, as heartbeat and respiration”(Black 16). Beside these scientific definitions which mostly state that death is an end therefore does not mention the idea of afterlife, fields such as philosophy and religion consider death not as an end but as a beginning.

Thus, her books are generally about race, class and gender. Being one of those books, Passing is about two women who suffer from racial and social discriminations in addition to characters’ predictable ends with tragedy and death. The book is written from the perspective of Irene who is not reliable, therefore it is necessary to examine both Irene and Clare. In this paper these women are analyzed through a psychoanalytical perspective in addition to the issues of homosexuality and sexual homicide. And through this analysis, it is suggested that due to phylogenesis, a term from Marcuse, sexual instinct which is connected to Eros can turn into aggression, represented by Irene and becomes Thanatos’ (death instinct) motivator.
