Day 3: Vampire & Werewolfs
1. When he was young and his father was no longer alive Kakashi had to fend for himself. Unfortunately it was not as easy.Thankfully a friend willing to keep his secret showed up and stayed in his life.
2. At the age of 15 every werewolf goes through their first metamorphosis. Due to the difficulty and pain of the prosses the family and pack of the werewolf is near to help. But for Gai, having lost his dad a year ago the only person he could trust in this vulnerable state is his trusted friend Kakashi.

Day 2: Wizard & Dragon
In the vast land of Konoha there is a powerful wizard known as the “Copy Wizard”. No matter the size of the enemy or their population he never lost a fight. Though he wasn’t alone. Besides him fought his most trusting person though he was not a wizard. He was one of the few and powerful dragon of the land.

Day 1: Sun & Moon
There is a legend told among the people about the sun and the moon being closer than what it seems in the sky above. Friend before the time and after of humans. Often the people telling the story will argue that the sun chases the moon for its calm and wise character. Others say that the moon chases the sun for its warmth and joy. Who knows?
When I posted these illustrations on Twitter, I did not get much response, but this is what I consider the ideal KAKAGAI.
I think Gai and Kakashi have a strong spiritual connection, like they support and respect each other.
I find that about these two to be very sublime.

Day 5: Flirting
If you asked one of the Konoha 12 (Shippuden era) what they think the reason was that Kakashi and Gai didn’t go to parties they would answer something like “Kakashi is a weird guy. Probably prefers to lay on a tree or in his house and read porn” and “Gai sensei is a man who trains hard. Going out to party would ruin his strict schedule of full 8hour sleep and taijutsu training”. Actually the truth is that in the early days of their relationship when partying they would get drunk and then flirt for hours using gringy and plainly embarrassing pick up lines (also they made out… A LOT… RIGHT NEXT TO PEOPLE)
“Can I depend on you Gai to protect my back?”
“Of course Rival! For as long as our Eternal Youth burns bright like the sun!”

Day 4: Soulmates
So what if they come from different backgrounds,so what if they fight in different styles, so what if their personalities are like the day and night. Those two souls trust each other more than anyone could even know and no matter the distance, whether they are back to back or to each corner of the battlefield a thread invisible to the naked eye will connect them for as long as eternity lasts.

Day 3: Valentine’s Day
So after everything is cleared between them, they do have a nice and healthy relationship. Kakashi, trying his best to fix up his past mistakes and behaviour towards Gai, goes a bit overboard with the gift exchange (but Kakashi was really nervous and Gai not talking, out of pure shock, made it worse).
