Ugh, its frustrating that all my friends aren’t interested in talking about my book thing and I can’t like gripe on my bsky (my main book space) because some follow me and I don’t want to offend them because I respect that they aren’t interested.

XIV and writing is like a litmus test for my friendships. I start to talk about them a little and I watch their reactions. Like, this shit is my hobby, a big part of my life. Why are we “friends” if you are just going to roll your eyes and call it “just a game” or “just fanfiction”? I support you learning to golf or playing D&D, is it wrong to expect the same in return?
