Mount BarkerIsn't it interesting how we both work on Mount Barker??? I challenge you to a competition, first mount barker to Featured wins. Non admins can close debates as keepHi, I notice your comment at the David Pearce deletion review that "non admins can close debates as keep". I'm surprised at this option - does that mean that any pro-keep editor can thwart the review process and simply close the debate in favour of his/her position? Seems rather generous. Regards, WWGB 10:40, 4 November 2007 (UTC) Your nomination of Senator On-LineI've recently closed the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Senator On-Line as a keep. Making ContactWas just reading T3Smiles userpage (shes been accused of everything except colour I'm afraid) when I noticed you made queries regarding CDB. Did you watch the Music Show posted on YouTube (the one with the bloopers?) Currently Andy is on "The Singing Bee" and Gary is on "Australian Idol" at the moment, the group are recording their new album at the moment as a "comeback" piece. CDB made a few tracks with Rockmelons. In the 90's I was working out of 001 Studios with Siew Ooi (Big Brother) when CDB came in and asked for a remix of "Hook Me Up", and we're all still mates. Cheers Ant.--Achidiac 08:51, 5 November 2007 (UTC) Hiya OIC!!!! Long time no speak. I was cleaning up my userpage (full of gunk) when I remembered you too. Looks like ant made contact with you. Anyway, looks like he's given you info and if you don't mind, I'm cleaning up your entry on my page as its too cluttered. Wish I knew how to get one of those autobot thingies. Message Ant if you wanna know more, likely an article in it somewhere or complement of information in an article. So how do you "cite" single or album release info? I bet you have something in your collection with Ant's name on it? rgds T --T3Smile 12:10, 5 November 2007 (UTC) OIC, my answer to your remark on my page - essentially, can you pont me to a definition of "corporate spam" - esp when I am quoting/citing a News article in "The Age"? Fair Use RationalesAm still having problems with BetacommandBot - have provided updated fair use rationales, based on your format - have provided sources for the image (i.e Image:Calenture.jpg & Image:Electric Soup.jpg) however it seems that still doesn't satisfy this dammed bot and it keeps on saying that it is a disputed fair use rationale - any suggestions? Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Icac.pngThanks for uploading Image:Icac.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:07, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Userpage vandalismNo worries. Anyone who likes Chicago (band) deserves some criticism from close friends but that doesn't extend to userpage vandalism from random strangers. Euryalus 23:19, 8 November 2007 (UTC) Food for thoughtClick there to open your card! → → →
Bob MarshallDo you know if the Bob the world billiards champion is the same Bob who was MLA for Maylands from 1965-68? The timing is about right but that's all I've got to go on. —Moondyne 13:04, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Melburnian (talk) 03:16, 20 November 2007 (UTC) 2007 Election discussion page use as Forum. It was "urgent" and "ongoing". In about an hour it went from 3 replies to seven or eight... The conversation was in breach of the policies I listed. I don't care if I was taking on one person or an entire project, I don't care if the people involved were normal users, ArbCom members or the founder or wikipedia himself. I didn't disrupt the encyclopaedia, to make a point or otherwise. I have learnt from this, I have learnt that hours after the whole thing settled down, you reported me to punished not to solve an ongoing problem. I don't appreciate being told how I could "be of greater assistance." I'm not your sockpuppet. But according to Electoral district of Geraldton, the Houtman Abrolhos falls within that district. What gives, man?! And how do I figure out what federal division it is in? Hesperian 04:53, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
I got sidetracked by the more interesting discovery that Australia claims sovereignty over the Houtman Abrolhos by virtue of a breach of Article 7 of the UNCLOS (search for "Houtman Abrolhos" in http://books.google.com/books?id=Uv8WwsnlLhsC). Perhaps I should figure out whether it is part of Australia before I worry if it is part of Northampton ;-) Hesperian 13:02, 26 November 2007 (UTC) I was under the impression that Fisheries have sole control of everything on the islands, like who comes and goes, who can visit and for how long, and that no permanent residency is allowed any more. If that's true then it's likely that no one could actually register with the AEC as the H.Abrollos Islands can not be their permanent address, however which particular AEC office takes a ballot box over there on election day might be interesting. It might be worth looking up the electoral roll to see if anyone has registered an H.Abrollos Islands address.petedavo (talk) 22:39, 15 December 2007 (UTC) PS: See my comment on the Division of Swan Talk Page.petedavo (talk) 22:39, 15 December 2007 (UTC) False BlockWhere is the checkuser request for the incorrect block that you added to my account? Here's the new version of the imperial triple crown jewels you've already earned. Feel free to replace your old one with this if you like the new version better. I've also introduced two new triple crown awards for editors who've done a lot of triple crown work: the Napoleonic and Alexander the Great edition awards. If you're active in a WikiProject, check out the new offer for custom WikiProject triple crowns. I'll make those upon request if five or more editors qualify. See User:Durova/Triple crown winner's circle for more information. Thanks for your hard work, and cheers! DurovaCharge! 22:17, 28 November 2007 (UTC) Project level triple crownHuh? Regarding your recent comments on Newyorkbrad ArbCom votes pages, unfortunately, they are too long and should be made at the voting talk page. The maximum length should be two short sentences. This determination was reached on prior consensus on the ArbCom Elections talk page. I've gone ahead and moved them appropriately, but feel free to edit my move to your liking. However, extended comments, like the ones you provided, belong on the talk page. Thanks, and forgive the inconvenience. - KTC 16:04, 3 December 2007 (UTC) AdoptionHello... I think many of them are answered by the 'conflictless dispute' I had with him over his FLC nomination, that I cited in my nom. He debated hard a point of niggly policy over Featured material and once he understood the rationale completely, he was happy to relent. I like that - good admins don't roll over and ask for their tummies to be tickled till they've had a strong argument presented. Good admins will also give in gracefully. Perhaps he once didn't - but I think he now ticks the boxes. --Dweller (talk) 08:19, 6 December 2007 (UTC) TemplateThanks, but I did copy the syntax, etc. from Template:Infobox Education in Canada! Just a request for you to restore the article on Ogalo fast food stores. This Chicken restaurant chain has grown to 16 stores in Sydney and Gosford constantly expanding, to rival Oporto (restaurant) and Nando in Australia. I've been creating some articles and I think this company is big enough now to be included. Can you please assist in restoring the article? J Bar (talk) 08:39, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

I've done some tidying up and expansion on my suburb. I need someone to tell me to stop before I go overboard (probably already have), or chew up my holidays wasting time editing wikipedia, or fail to get my yard tidied up before Xmas. So if anyone knows anything of this area and says that they reckon it's done to death, that'll be good enough for me.petedavo (talk) 01:24, 16 December 2007 (UTC) User PenserPlease look into a violation of 3R by Penser who has reverted Alexander Graham Bell three times in a 24-hour period to his version. The issue of nationality was a "hot" topic on the talk page and a resolution in describing the scientist's nationality was decided upon. The lead paragraph is carefully written to indicate a main birthright as "Scottish" although an American citizenship was obtained. The amount of time spent in Canada is also discussed wherein all three nations have claimed Bell as their native son. FWIW, the user in question has also made some intemperate "attack" statements although I had earlier attempted to explain the issues on his talk page. Bzuk (talk) 13:11, 16 December 2007 (UTC).
