Notability of Ihsan Tarore

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Ihsan Tarore, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Ihsan Tarore seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Ihsan Tarore, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 12:56, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Op_zoek_naar_Mary_Poppins_logo.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. multichill (talk) 10:16, 2 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Years in British television

Hi. I notice you added a lot of end dates for television programmes in the Years in British television articles. I've recently added The Black and White Minstrel Show to 1978 but was unsure of the date it ended, so was wondering whether you might know? If you do please feel free to add it to the article. Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Xfactor1234! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 699 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Speedy deletion nomination of List of Songs Used on Strictly Come Dancing

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of Songs Used on Strictly Come Dancing, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. I know you'll appreciate me putting in the 'songs performed' that were not originally included (until now).

Though I can see the following still aren't included:

what song Maggie Blackaby as Barbra Streisand sang (from heat 10 aired Saturday May 13 2000, series 11, as star guest number five on that heat) [the heat won by Stephen Triffit as Frank Sinatra]

what song Lisa McQuillan as Julie London sang (from heat 3 aired Saturday May 19 2001, series 13, as star guest number three on that heat) [the heat won by Sarah Irlam as Kylie Minogue]

what song Martin Lucas as Cliff Richard sang (from the same heat above)

what song Alex May as Axl Rose sang (from the same heat above)

what song Paul Waldron as Anthony Newley sang (from heat 6 aired Saturday June 9 2001, series 13, as star guest number five on that heat) [the heat won by Dalton Harvey as Lionel Richie]

what song Tony Bodnar as Elvis Costello sang (from heat 7 aired Saturday June 16 2001, series 13, as star guest number three on that heat) [the heat won by Annie Shephard as Judith Durham]

and what song Reuben Richards as Wilson Pickett sang (from heat 8 aired Saturday June 23 2001, series 13, as star guest number four on that heat).

This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Proposed deletion of 1974 in Estonian television

Hello, Xfactor1234. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, 1974 in Estonian television, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Articles on French television

Hi,

Thank you for your contributions! Unfortunately, I don't think the articles you created on French television have enough substantive content and I have therefore tagged them with the no content speedy deletion tag.

It's best to create an article in the draft space and then moving them to the main space so that your articles are well-referenced and have more content. This way, they're much less likely to get deleted. If you want to re-create them, I strongly suggest going through the articles for creation process as opposed to creating them directly into the main space.

If you have any questions, be sure to ask.

Regards, DrStrauss talk 17:01, 18 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

EDIT - there are categories for "<year> in French television", I would suggest simply adding the relevant articles to those categories as opposed to creating an article which duplicates them. DrStrauss talk 17:04, 18 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on 1958 in German television requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Your contributed article, 1960 in German television

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, 1960 in German television. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Wyn Hoop. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Wyn Hoop – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Domdeparis (talk) 13:27, 20 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
