To report an error in content currently or imminently on the Main Page, use the appropriate section below.
- Where is the error? An exact quotation of the text in question helps.
- Offer a correction if possible.
- References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
- Time zones. The Main Page runs on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, currently 17:36 on 25 October 2024) and is not adjusted to your local time zone.
- Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
- Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
- No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.
- Respect other editors. Another user wrote the text you want changed, or reported an issue they see in something you wrote. Everyone's goal should be producing the best Main Page possible. The compressed time frame of the Main Page means sometimes action must be taken before there has been time for everyone to comment. Be civil to fellow users.
- Reports are removed when resolved. Once an error has been addressed or determined not to be an error, or the item has been rotated off the Main Page, the report will be removed from this page. Check the revision history for a record of any discussion or action taken; no archives are kept.

Errors in In the news
This news item is fine, as far as I know; but unlike the usual case, the article on metallic hydrogen does not reflect this news. Shocking Blue (talk) 15:21, 28 January 2017 (UTC)

- Irfan Pathan while the claim appears to have two references inline, neither of them substantiate the record. The Rambling Man (talk) 10:20, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- Done. I took out the part out being the first away hat-trick for an Indian, which wasn't exactly startling because it was only the second ever! I wonder if it's worth updating the OTD blurb to point out that he's still the only bowler to have done this? Black Kite (talk) 12:16, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- Mantra-Rock Dance: The definite article must be inserted in front of Grateful Dead. --Dyspeptic skeptic (talk) 11:40, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- Liliʻuokalani: Am I overlooking something? I don't see where the article states she was the first or only queen regnant of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi. Also, I think as written, the blurb implies that when she was proclaimed queen, she was intended to be the last ever monarch of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi. --Dyspeptic skeptic (talk) 12:02, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- No, it's not you. I've added it to the sentence about her coronation (and sourced it). I've changed the blurb to "became" so it avoids that 2nd problem. Black Kite (talk) 12:25, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks, but regarding the wording, she became the last monarch when she was deposed, no? How about Liliʻuokalani, the last monarch and only queen regnant of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi, ascended to the throne? --Dyspeptic skeptic (talk) 12:51, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
