Publication history
editDing Dong Daddy was created by Bob Haney and Nick Cardy, and first appeared in Teen Titans #3 (January 1966).[1] He is based on famed hot rod enthusiast Ed Roth.[2]
Fictional character biography
editDing Dong Daddy is the proprietor of a custom hot rod and bike shop that hires high school dropouts. Discovering that Dowd's operation is a front for criminals, the Titans go undercover and convince his henchmen to return to school.[3] Ding Dong Daddy later steals the Arrowcar from Speedy after Green Arrow allows him to borrow it.[4]

editDing Dong Daddy appears in Teen Titans, voiced by David Johansen.[5] This version is an ally of the Brotherhood of Evil.
