Kaarlo Hannes Maaninka (born 25 December 1953) is a Finnish former long-distance runner who won a silver medal in the 10,000 metres and a bronze medal in the 5,000 metres at the 1980 Moscow Olympics.[1] He later admitted that he had used blood transfusions at the 1980 Olympics, though this was not against the rules at that time.[2]
