Oviglio (Piedmontese: Ovij or J'Oij) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) southeast of Turin and about 12 kilometres (7 mi) southwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,248 and an area of 27.3 square kilometres (10.5 sq mi).[3]
