Just usual convention for match view, such as goals, match reports, referee. Additional match data such as lineups, yellow/red cards, substitutions can be used but clutters the boxes and can be used for matches such as final. Wikipedia of most players only returns redlinks, but can be used if there's notability or for players who have pages. Lancepark (talk) 19:53, 2 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Agreed on the first case but I wish to know your thought about the usage of football box template instead of football box collapsible template in that case. As we don't want to show those disciplinary data for group matches I think "football box template" will take less place (in visual sense) than "football box collapsible template" (according to my comparison between present templates used in 2022-23 IWL, and Hero Super Cup knockout matches' templates).
"notability of player"
We have to think that :
Are Indian national level women players not notable? or, We don't want to know them.
While an interested viewer touches a redlink, a link is visible on his screen related to creation of that redlinked page. Then, some of them may be interested to create that page.
Well to be honest, there is no issue with adding disciplinary data in the usual template in general. As the past editions display basic match data such as goals or penalty shootout goals etc, I kept the norm here irrespective of extra data from AIFF reports and also looking at the upkeep of various women's football competitions. If you wish, you can add those additional data to the usual template as well, if required for all the matches.
With respect to wikilinks, I would suggest maybe add redlinks for national team players or players who have significant coverage in media or statistics rather than adding links to everyone, as in my opinion it causes too much cluttering especially since a lot of players playing in the league don't have their own pages per say. These links can be added anytime or later here, and in time someone might create the player's page, so its not an issue. Lancepark (talk) 19:08, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
