- Gday. I think this is already mentioned. Pls see the last sentence of the section entitled "Afghanistan" which states: "3 RAR formed the basis of a battle group that was deployed to the country again in 2012 tasked with mentoring the Afghan National Army 4th Brigade, 205th Corps, before handing over to 7 RAR in November." editIn this image the Digger on the far right is CPL James Stewart "Blue" or "Bluey" Newell, 23573; I reckon. Regrettably Bluey passed away recently. We was good mates. Change of Commanding Officer
editThere has been a change of Commanding officer since the end of 2019. LTCOL Michael Kearns handed over command to LTCOL Gerard Kearns.
