Should the political organization that Al started get it's own entry? — Preceding unsigned comment added by WeeBabySeamus (talkcontribs) 17:58, 30 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

The series never specified what name Al was short for, but the creators of the show said it was short for "Alphonse," "Ali-Babba," or just "Al" (it should be noted that in the episode dealing with the overdue library book, the librarian called him Alphonse Bundy)

This sentence contradicts itself. If the librarian called him Alphonse Bundy, then the series specified what "Al" was short for. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.19.211.40 (talk) 03:12, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think the name Alphonse should be deleted since nobody could give a citation so far. Bundyology, 14:14, 30 May 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.56.165.122 (talk)

If anyone is wondering, the clip from the episode where Al returns a library book is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RdtX9fwTOk (from He Thought He Could, S3E1). Nowhere does the librarian refer to Al as Alphonse. Nor does anyone.
