Splitting
editOpposed: This was initially two articles. The reason why I put them together was because their biographies were too similar. As a matter of fact, the majority of their career has been together. There is absolutely no reason to split them.(Voicebox64 (talk) 18:58, 1 December 2017 (UTC))
- I agree. They don't have enough separate work for separate articles. CAJH (talk) 15:22, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
Filmography
editI find listing films that they have only 'Thanks' credit highly confusing and irrelevant and I suggest to remove it. If they have not done any of the major roles that they are known for (or new ones if they arise) then I don't see the point of listing them here. Zohar.ma (talk) 20:34, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
married?
editI removed a statement calling them a husband-and-wife team as it was unsourced and as there was concern raised about it at Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Anna_Boden_and_Ryan_Fleck. Checking a few of the sources, I see them referred to as people who dated and as "partners" (and in situations where it would be likely to have been said that they were married if they were so.) Doing a little searching, I can find references to them being a married couple, but in low-quality sources. At the very least, do not restore the claim until there is a high-quality source asserting it. --Nat Gertler (talk) 00:11, 27 October 2018 (UTC)
- Only concrete reference I can find is a WSJ article from 2010 saying "Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are filmmaking partners, but aren't married and don't live together." --Shivertimbers433 (talk) 00:46, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
- And now there have been a few sources to refer to them as husband-wife: BBC, Toronto Sun --Shivertimbers433 (talk) 04:05, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
birth dates
editI just removed the birth dates listed for different reasons. Hers, I removed because it gave a specified year, but cited a source that did not make the year clear; given the age it listed for her and publication, there was a good chance she was born late in the year before the one that was listed. For him, it was based on a dead link to what seemed like a copy of a primary source. That has a couple of problems; we avoid primary sourcing for such information because if it's not being covered in more public ways, it's a private point of information and we should not be steering people toward it. We much prefer information in reliable third-party sources. --Nat Gertler (talk) 05:27, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
