Micke Kuwahara as a Lead Programmer of Battlefield 1942
editMicke Kuwahara came across as a Lead Programmer of Battlefield 1942. - If you look at his LinkedIn, he was specifically a patch developer for BF1942, in charge of the bug fixing team and the lead programmer specifically for the Road to Rome expansion, rather than the original game or even the Secret Weapons of WW2 expansion.— Nohomers48 (talk • contribs) 07:35, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- I work for DICE since 2000s. I can confirm that Micke Kuwahara is not involved in any of Battlefield 1942 project. I'm unable to find him in Battlefiel1942 credits and any other official forms. Everything he states in his linkedin and his university profile is his own claim and not official by DICE. I suspect he called himself "Programmer Lead for Battlefield series" for self promotion. - I do not know who Dicetrailer01 above is in real life but he is very misinformed. I am Micke Kuwahara, and I worked for Dice in Stockholm between 2002-2004 as Programmer Lead on the Battlefield team, while bug-fixing the newly released Battlefield 1942 (and boy, did it need fixing) and adding various expansions, like The Road to Rome (where I am also credited as Producer). I was also heavily involved in Battlefield 2, but left the company before it finished. But having said that, no I was not Lead Programmer for the main development of Battlefield 1942, I started working for DICE the same week it was released. The actual lead programmer was Mats Dal.
