Erin Bow is notable per WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO 1: "The person has received a well-known and significant award or honor, or has been nominated for one several times," and WP:AUTHOR 4: "The person's works" (c) "have won significant critical attention." The references that support this wikipedia page provide evidence of book reviews from well known sources, interviews and news articles, and awards and nominations she has received. Increase reliable sources, particularly those asserting notability.
Replace primary sources (for example: website, facebook, press releases) and database sources (for example: Goodreads, ISFDB) with reliable, secondary sources.
(Note: per WP:SELFPUB and WP:BLPSELFPUB, self published and questionable sources can be used for sources of information about themselves (the person in the article), and that includes material published on social networking sites.
I originally created this article. (I read Sorrow's Knot by Bow, and when I was looking into what other books she wrote I noted that she didn't have a wikipedia page. I thought she was notable enough to have one.) I have worked on adding reliable, notable sources. I'm not sure specifically what copy editing is needed. I am also not sure how to change the tone. Many reliable sources (such as book reviews and interviews in major newspapers) praise her writing so I added the writing style section, but I could see how that would sound like an advertisement. However I don't want to remove the section because that would remove the link to some of the sources. Thoughts? Scatter89 (talk) 23:21, 28 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

I don't think I should be the one to remove the tags because they were placed on or recommended for a version of the article I created. I have worked to improve the article since. Scatter89 (talk) 23:38, 28 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
