editPlease choose one and stick with it. It's okay to list the various spellings for reference, but this article should only use one thereafter. Kortoso (talk)

Ancient Hadramite Diaspora
editHadramites (Ancient and Modern) in Western Yemen should be part of the diaspora (Since Hadramawt is Eastern Yemen, Empty Quarter & Dhofar), but never included Western Yemen.
Ancient includes Mofarites and Gurage, modern (numerous settlements in Western Yemen)\
The Hadharem have a long seafaring and trading tradition that predates Semitic cultures, the Semitic Hadramites diaspora was historically the Mofarite & Gurage mercantile Semitic pioneers in East Africa, Hadramite influence was later over shadowed by the rise of the temple of the Moon Governing Sabaean Semites that saw the concentration of power switch to a governing ruling class. With Governing pressure in the South Semitic regions Hadhrami seamen navigated in large numbers all around the Indian Ocean Bernischwarz (talk) 08:28, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
saeikh - a typo?
editsaeikh seems to be a typo but it is not obvious what it should be - can anyone figure out what it should be? (from Wikipedia:Correct typos in one click)— Preceding unsigned comment added by Bellowhead678 (talk • contribs)
- The word is "Sheikh". I removed the whole name because the person does not seem notable and there is no source for the name.--SharabSalam (talk) 00:06, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
Re: Recent reversion of edits by Abo Yemen
edit@Abo Yemen: Hi, would you mind explaining your reasoning for reverting my recent edits? Thanks, Arctic Circle System (talk) 00:45, 30 August 2024 (UTC)
- On your first edit, You removed the Hadhrami Arabic link and added the Arabic link without explaining your reasoning.
- And as for the lemba people edit, there are no sources on this article that proves that they are of hadhrami ancestry. And even if there was a source, the "Related ethnic groups" section of the infobox doesn't state any specific ethnic groups. Specific ethnic groups are mentioned in the Diaspora section of the article. Abo Yemen✉ 09:46, 30 August 2024 (UTC)
Somaliland
edit@Abo Yemen Where is Somaliland mentioned in the article? No Hadharem populace significant enough inhabits the region. Replayerr (talk) 18:41, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Abo Yemen You are talking about the Harari people and they live in Ethiopia not Somaliland. Change the article by replacing Somaliland with Ethiopia. Replayerr (talk) 18:43, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- the Adal Sultanate was in ethiopia? Abo Yemen✉ 18:46, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- "see #Hadhrami East Africans; Harari people are in somaliland too" They live in Harar, Ethiopia not in Somaliland. Replayerr (talk) 20:04, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
