1. Well-written

  • He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent after the 2010 NFL Draft. Remove the comma after "Irish"
  • Sergio Brown was born on May 22, 1988 in Maywood, Illinois... Add a comma after "1988"
  • ...achieving a career-best leap of 21 feet, 9 inches and recorded a 4.38 second 40-yard dash. Change "recorded" to "recording"
  • Brown was promoted to starting nickel back safety in his junior season, and played in all twelve regular season games. Remove the comma after "season"
  • ...averaging over 2 tackles per game. per MOS:NUMERAL, change "2" to "two".

  • He made his NFL playoff debut on January 16, 2011 in a 21-28 loss against the New York Jets... Add a comma after "2011"

2. Verifiable
Copyvio check is fine- the three articles with 10%+ similarity are showing the full team names, the exact title of his charges, and quotes used. The sources used in the article are reliable.

  • The following statements need a citation:
  • He made his NFL playoff debut on January 16, 2011 in a 21-28 loss against the New York Jets in the AFC Divisional round, recording one tackle in the contest. Collectively, the Patriots finished with the first seed in the American Football Conference (AFC), with a league-best regular season record of 14-2.
  • For the second season in a row, the Patriots finished as the first seed in the AFC, with a record of 13-3.
  • In his first regular season with the Colts, Brown played in all 16 games, recording 11 total tackles and a pass deflection; however, he did not start in any contests.
  • The Colts ended the season with an 11-5 record, second in the AFC South behind the Houston Texans.
  • The Colts matched their previous season's performance, finishing with an 11-5 record and ranking first in the AFC South.
  • In the 2014 season, Brown played in 15 regular season games, starting eight, with 33 total tackles including 24 solo tackles and nine assists. He recorded one tackle for loss, two quarterback hits, and recovered one fumble for 26 yards in a November 3 game against the New York Giants.
  • For the third consecutive year, the Colts ended the regular season with an 11-5 record and topped the AFC South standings for the second straight year.
  • The Jaguars finished third in the AFC South, with a season record of 5-11.
  • Following the conclusion of the 2016 NFL season, Brown announced his retirement from professional football.
  • All references need an |access-date parameter. I noticed refs. 41 and 58 did not.
  • There should also be consistency in what is used in the |website= parameter. For example, ref. 17 lists ESPN while ref. 34 has ESPN.com
  • Copyvio spot check:
  • No issues: 4, 9, 13, 20, 21, 29, 39, 45, 52, 57, 59, 64, 68

3. Broad
The article is broad and stays focused. It is also up to date- I did not see any important updates on Brown's case.

4. Neutral
The article is neutral.

5. Stable
This article is stable day-to-day, no edit warring.

6. Illustrated
The image in the article is free and has a relevant caption.

Hi! Thank you so much for the review - I’ve read over all of the comments and will get to addressing them as soon as possible (likely Monday morning -I’m currently out of town without access to a computer). I don’t have any questions at the moment but I’ll be sure to ask if any come up! 107.115.239.134 (talk) 19:09, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hello @Riley1012 - I've done my best to address the comments that you've laid out in your assessment. I have made corrections to the prose as directed, and have provided citations to the listed statements. I've also made sure that access dates have been added to those references that did not previously have them, and checked for consistency between website parameters to the best of my ability. If I've missed anything, please let me know and I'll get to correcting it - I'll also be on the lookout myself. Thank you! Joeyquism (talk) 03:26, 5 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
