Ukhiya (Bengali: উখিয়া) is an upazila of Cox's Bazar District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.[4]

Geography
editUkhia is located at 21°17′00″N 92°06′00″E / 21.2833°N 92.1000°E. It has 37,940 households and a total area of 261.8 km2.
Demographics
editAs of the 2022 Bangladeshi census, Ukhia upazila had a population of 263158. Ethnic population is 2,451 (0.66%), of which the Chakma 960 and Tanchangya were 469.
Administration
editUkhia Upazila is divided into five union parishads: Holdia Palong, Jalia Palong, Raja Palong, Ratna Palong, and Palong Khali. The union parishads are subdivided into 13 mauzas and 54 villages.[6]
