Who I Am!
editA home-schooled seventeen year old resident of San Ignacio, Belize, Central America, and a long time fiction writer with an aspiration for expansion! On top of having written fiction since I was eleven, I also enjoy building on the coin collection of my late father, and fishing in the Macal River and Mopan River, between which I live! One of four siblings, I have a deep appreciation for my family and home.
Technically speaking I'm not a Belizean, having been born in Arizona, USA; but due to the fact I have lived in Belize since I was 2 years old -excepting six months on the Nicaraguan coast- I consider myself as such!
Where I'm from!
editNever heard of Belize? Don't sweat it; not many people have. Believe it or not, if you toss out the word 'Belize', most people will just be like what's a Belize? No, it's not a Guatemalan state: It's that little speck on the map wedged between the Caribbean, Guatemala, and Mexico! It's also one of the few countries in the world that has English as its primary language, and though the influence of its neighbors results in a great number of Spanish speakers, the local creole is still technically English!
Boasting the second largest barrier reef in the world, the country is nearly completely reliant on the tourism industry -agriculture being a major side-industry. Tourists from around the world flock to this speck of a country, intrigued by diverse culture, Mayan ruins, deep rain-forests, the Belize Barrier Reef, and, of course, the local seventh wonder of the world: the Great Blue Hole.
What I do!
editI write! About what? Well, when I'm not writing fantasy fiction novels and novellas, I'm cataloging my coin collection, or cataloging fish from local rivers! I started writing when I was relatively young, shortly after the unfortunate heart attack of my father, and have been working and improving my craft ever since.
