Deletion discussion about Settimana bianca

edit

Hello Bruno pnm ars, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Settimana bianca, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Settimana bianca.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Remsense}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Vandalism in A F M Khalid Hossain

edit

Hello, Bruno pnm ars. I have reverted your recent edit on this page, as it appeared to be an act of vandalism. The lead section serves as a summary of the entire article, and the remaining content is well-sourced. Thank you.β€“πŽπ°πšπ’π¬ 𝐀π₯ 𝐐𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐒 Κ•Κ˜Μ…ΝœΚ˜Μ…Κ” 06:57, 21 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

I strongly encourage you to review WP:VD to understand why this action does not constitute vandalism. The content I moved was placed directly after the infobox, where it primarily discussed the subject's career. Given that this section is meant to provide a brief overview of the subject's life, it was more appropriate to relocate this content to the career section. Additionally, the information I moved was unsourced and lacked w.wiki/FVY Therefore, I believe it should either be removed or properly cited as soon as possible. Bruno pnm ars (talk) 07:47, 21 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I would like to avoid any conflict. I am the author of this article. I can assure you that all the statements within it are supported by reliable sources. As mentioned earlier, the lead section serves as a summary of the article. If you disagree with any part of it, point out the specific lines in the "Life Account" and "Literary Works" sections that you believe are not properly cited. If all statements are indeed properly cited, consider reverting your edits. According to Wikipedia's policies, engaging in an edit war is not acceptable.β€“πŽπ°πšπ’π¬ 𝐀π₯ 𝐐𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐒 Κ•Κ˜Μ…ΝœΚ˜Μ…Κ” 09:48, 21 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I am still waiting for your response. If this issue is not resolved, I will revert your edits. If you continue to engage in an edit war, I will consider it an act of vandalism and will report the matter to the Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism.β€“πŽπ°πšπ’π¬ 𝐀π₯ 𝐐𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐒 Κ•Κ˜Μ…ΝœΚ˜Μ…Κ” 17:30, 21 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I guess you’re correct, but still; i insist on putting a newline in between for WP:N concerns. Also, we can remove the "[citation needed]" tag as per your explanation. Bruno pnm ars (talk) 19:03, 21 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

August 2024 Bangladesh floods

edit

I noticed that you moved the article August 2024 Bangladesh floods to 2024 August Bangladesh floods showing the reason "misspelled" which is contradictory to the manual of style of Wikipedia. We never write "2024 August" in Wikipedia, we write "August 2024". Secondly, the way you used to move is incorrect because the way removed other user's contribution from the article's revision history. Wikipedia contains and values other user's contributions. So when we make that a redirect to change its name, the new page would not contain their contribution on the page revision history anymore, that would go to the redirect. I humbly request you to restraint moving page using that way. Instead use Wikipedia:Requested moves to move the page if you unable to do so. Mehedi Abedin 09:08, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Oh, My bad. Thank you for the info. I'll do better from next time and follow the manual style. Bruno pnm ars (talk) 09:59, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

November 2024

edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into M Sakhawat Hussain. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
