sheesh

your happy everything is a bit overwhelming by this stage of the year :) - had a few friends who were social works who worked at waada, and know one brilliant graduate, so to speak, and sad sorties of others who seem still lost, if not lost completely. As for women's material on wp - I cannot possible say what I'd like to here. keep up the good work! keep... JarrahTree 03:34, 7 February 2020 (UTC)

beware

it would really help if you read talk page messages...

relying on bm articles from the early 2010s can lead to grief, check other sources....

https://trove.nla.gov.au/result?q=lake+way+mine has dates from the 1990s... and current net searches may well have nothing... its c omplex story this issue, but one that requires euphemistic expression so as not to whatever...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Way is a more accurate link from a more reliable editor and set of sources.. JarrahTree 22:50, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
your attention? not sure how to get it ? there is a discussion needed about the lake way items - cheers.. JarrahTree 23:10, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
there is a long very libelous bad faith account I cannot give here about some mining issues (email yes, on wiki no), when looking at the some articles, there are a range of clues ... but I am constrained by good faith and NPA rules.. You have done no wrong at all, but short of very euphemistic clues and acronyms and very weird things like something out of sherlock or endeavour, I cannot help you. pity. JarrahTree 14:28, 24 February 2020 (UTC)

wow what an opportunity

patriotic songs of the 1890s - the afd just commented upon is clearly a candidate for a more complex item of what was happening in the antipodes in the 1890s, I do have paper (yes...) material relating to the era, I see the potential for something that could rock the socks of recentism obsessed online answers enthusiasts - let me know if youre interested, otherwise I see a very inneresting article about the poetry and lyrics that would have come out of the federalising bunch of colonies in the 1890s... Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vicky Manhas

Both Vicky Manhas (the musician) and Vicky Manhas (the councillor for No 38 ward) are men. So Note: This discussion has been included in the [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Women|list of Women-related deletion discussions]]. was inappropriate. Don't worry. I wrote my initial comments assuming that anyone called Vicky must be female. lol.-- Toddy1 (talk) 15:38, 24 May 2020 (UTC)

Regarding AfD Discussion

Hello, regarding Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Georges_Sada#Georges_Sada, one of the serious problems mentioned is that there is no reliable or independent source of Sada being a flag officer. It comes from him, and that's also something several users have brought up in Talk discussions. Also, this fails WP:MILPERSON because "have received significant coverage in multiple verifiable independent, reliable sources." is not met. Thanks! Saucysalsa30 (talk) 15:51, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

thanks, after further consideration, have struck out my "keep". Coolabahapple (talk) 02:19, 9 October 2020 (UTC)

First Mining project is notoriously quiet, sometimes dead, sometimes resusitated - and the edits of the particular ed are notorious for making claims about things from very dated and sometimes impossible to find followup refs/allusions - the afds that follow are usually tortuous as well. That is much as I can share in open wiki space - take care !!! JarrahTree 05:27, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

damned ants nest

well done you have found the totally idiotic project talk page tree that has either mind splattering amazing associative dissonance [1] or vacuity - who knows where or how it will be resolved, count me out... talk page tagging is fine when there is a clear and limited range of projects that can be added, but from the main category to hoadleys leaves me running fast the other way. Trust you are having a good new year. JarrahTree 10:18, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

my sincerest apology, if that did not make sense to you - for nothing to do with your edit, you had uncovered a very poorly thought out tree with no specific supporting project to be able to place on the talk page. I am always ready to leave elliptical and hyperbolic messages, and in turn m always ready to explain if they seem totally incomprehensible to you. JarrahTree 05:46, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

apologies and thanks

request for feedback

Coolabahapple I saw that you thanked me for an edit on Tristan Stephenson‬'s page. I just happened to be reading that page, and I try to make edits when I see something that needs fixing on a page. Recently, I drafted my very first Wikipedia page, but it is still under review. Would you be willing to give me feedback, please? One editor asked a handful of questions, and I believe that I have addresses them all so far. This is the page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Flajolet_Lecture_Prize Thank you very much for considering! MDW333 (talk) 09:16, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

hi MDW333, looking at the draft, as it now stands, i'm not sure that it adequately shows that the award is wikisignificant enough to warrant a standalone article as the references are mostly media releases/conference reports. are there any journal articles ie. in Algorithmica or Algorithms that discuss the award (and not just mentions)? otherwise, i can envisage, if this went "live" it would go straight to afd with a possible "merge" result to a legacy section at Philippe Flajolet. Coolabahapple (talk) 03:15, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
ps. i am pinging the draft reviewer, Theroadislong, to let them know of this chat. Coolabahapple (talk) 03:18, 26 March 2021 (UTC)

Coolabahapple I appreciate your feedback! Thank you! Yes, I am realizing that we should add some references to journal articles and scientific sources that really explain (independently) the significance of this prize in the broader scientific community. The editor Theroadislong is giving me some very helpful and useful feedback about this too. I appreciate both of you, and I will continue to work on this during the next couple of days. Many thanks for these suggestions! MDW333 (talk) 11:19, 26 March 2021 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ten Little Indians, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Injun. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Request for peer review help

Hi Coolaabahapple. I hope you are doing well and staying safe during these times! Apologize to bother and posting a random request. I have just started to work on a stub (Fontainea Venosa)and had added some sections. I am trying my best to get the article to B class hopefully. Knowing your expertise, I would love if you can help me to review and left a comment on what I can do to improve my edits. I hope that this is okay, but no pressure if you are busy. That is completely fine and understandable :) Hope to hear from you soon. The article is Fontainea Venosa

Thank you so much :) Sparklingkull (talk) 01:50, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

Re your AfD closure reversal:

I thought of doing the same, for the same reason, but that I think would be a conflict of interest on my part.

I think it is touch and go either way, and will not be worried which way it goes.

Thanks. Aoziwe (talk) 09:37, 27 January 2022 (UTC)

  Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week in recognition of your great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:DanCherek submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

I nominate Coolabahapple to be Editor of the Week for their spectacular work within Children's literature. They have created hundreds of articles on notable children's books, provided assessments for thousands more, and frequently chime in with thoughtful responses in AfD discussions. They always have a cheerful demeanor and their contributions to Wikipedia' coverage of children's literature are invaluable, as evidenced by the many messages of appreciation on their talk page. The WikiProject would be much more disorganized without their efforts. Coolabahapple also performs valuable tasks like fixing reference errors in articles and adding references to unsourced material. They are a great Wikipedian and this recognition is long overdue!

Raphael Hazrat Ishaan

Hi,

2 days ago I have created an article about the current head of the Qadiri Naqshbandi Sufi order. An Afghan Prince and Lawyer with Millions of spiritual followers in South Asia. However this article seems to have had a bad history of deletions, because of which Mccapra has requested speedy deletion. It seems that the prince has many fans somewhere around teh world who tried to make Wikipedia articles, but with low experience and bad quality because of which it was deleted many times. Alone that actually shows notability. I have to agree that the quality of the article about Sayyid Raphael Dakik indeed lacked quality in year 2020, but that was long ago and I have improved it very well so that it has become a professional Wikipedia Article. The request for speedy deletion was with pure bad-faith and I would be grateful to receive your assistance in creating the article on Raphael Hazrat Ishaan again. Once you confirm, I will recreate the article and would be grateful for your assistance in defending it. --TwelverShii (talk) 12:27, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
