Lyrics in articles
editHey Evan. I was thinking about your song articles that you've been making, and I think it's best if we actually remove the lyrics from the articles you've written on songs; we generally do not include the full text of a primary source, even if it's in the public domain. If we do quote a primary source, it's because it should be used to facilitate further discussion of the topic, like the style of the song or music. However, these lyrics would be appropriate on a place like WikiSource, where we maintain free text materials (like song lyrics in public domain), so I'd encourage you to post them over there. I, JethroBT drop me a line 21:48, 15 July 2014 (UTC)
@User:I JethroBT Gotchya, thanks for letting me know. I'll keep that in mind. <3 --EvanRo (talk) 15:14, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for July 18
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Autumn Sandeen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Department of Defense. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Bernard Perlin
editGood work on the Bernard Perlin article! This could become a higher quality article if you use AskART.com to flesh out the details. I'll give you the password to the database. He's won awards for his work, especially in the 1940's. He's also mentioned in many of the war poster books we have in the collection at PMML. I also have an artist reference folder on him in my office as we have digitized a bunch of the posters and featured a couple in past exhibits. We could probably upload one of the one's he did for the government as an example of his work.
@I JethroBT: Perlin would be a very good candidate for a DYK, in my opinion. TeriEmbrey (talk) 14:02, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
