DYK for William Chambliss
On 16 May 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article William Chambliss, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that sociologist William Chambliss concluded that conflict between social classes is the fundamental force in capitalist societies? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/William Chambliss. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, William Chambliss), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi, I am Kudoni. I see that you have removed all my additions to this page. I can assure you that all are correct: I wanted the page to do justice to a prominent player of the fifties. As someone new to editing I have not yet worked out how to do all the technical stuff, but all of the results can be found in the Blast from the Past tennis forum archive. This took me some time and I should be grateful if you could restore what I had made an informative page-before it was the very barest of bones. Kudoni (talk) 11:58, 17 May 2016 (UTC)Kudoni
- Sure, I'll restore it, but you should add a source for the content you added. See Help:Referencing for beginners for more info on how to do this. Everymorning (talk) 12:01, 17 May 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for adding Robert F Gault to the category Connecticut Painters for me. Do you know anything about the American Impressionism article? I found the talk page there very confusing. Kind of a newbie, here. Librarianhelen (talk) 11:46, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- I don't edit painting related articles here very often, and I only categorized the Gault article because I saw it on New Pages Patrol. For this reason, I don't really know anything about the American impressionism article. Everymorning (talk) 12:02, 4 June 2016 (UTC)

Adande Thorne age
I'm so sorry for any trouble I've caused. You asked for a little more proof of his age. He stated in a few live streams that his management at the start of his career told him to stay ageless so he would provide different ages for different interviews years ago so that's why that article has him at 1980. His youtube friend Lilly Singh (SuperWoman) has also stated that the two of them are around the same age and the famous birthdays website has his bday at 1988. I tried to post the link here but its not working but you can look for yourself
Hunter20100 (talk) 01:56, 7 June 2016 (UTC) Hunter
- You're going to need better sources than that if you want to change his DOB. The Famous Birthdays website is not a reliable source, for example, and as for the statement by SuperWoman you'd at least need to point me to the specific video where she says it. In any case, ultimately the most reliable piece of evidence that Thorne wasn't born in 1988 is this story which described him as 26 years old in 2007 (if he was born in 1988 he'd have been no older than 19). Swoozie age
Sorry again. Don't mean to be a bother. Just saw your response. Well he deletes most of his live streams. He does check all of his business emails (located on his youtube page about section: Youtube.com/swoozie06) but its swooziemedia@gmail.com. He could probably be the best source because aside from his live streams, famous birthdays is the only proof I have. I'll stop updating it. I didn't know I was causing you extra work so I'm very sorry. If you have a regular email I could also reach out to him and have him email you from that email address if that helps.

Hi Some About My New Page Review
Hi User: Everymorning thanks for giving a suitable category to my newly created page Askmecodes, I would like to request you to have a review it again, because one of the user (User_talk:Harry_the_Dirty_Dog) put this page under Speedy deletion category. I don't understand why he did like so? I didn't put any content like promotional, I had just created my website before 2 months ago for that I want to build a brand strategy, My website will add more features in future so I will update the page time to time to make it more content reach. But for now, my site don't have too much feature so it has less content. MWH Page Edits
Hey, I'm Rhythmofyouth. When I edited the Men Without Hats page I added a nickname for Ivan. The nickname was never given to him (at least I have never heard of that happening). Anyway, I gave him a nickname because I am a fan of Men Without Hats. I was only trying to get the nickname out there. Maybe, he would like it. I wasn't trying to cause any trouble. So, no, I do not have a source because I thought of it on my own. I would like to add it in so that maybe he (and others) could see it. I know that it would be misguiding to those who are not familiar to the band, but maybe I could start it off. Thank you for your time. Rhythmofyouth (talk) 02:49, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of 2016 Calabasas fire
The article 2016 Calabasas fire has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WikiProject Wildfire
Hello! I have recently started a new WikiProject and am trying to recruit new members. The project, WikiProject Wildfire, focuses on articles that relate to wildfires. There is a lot of work that needs to be done. From updating templates, to classifying and improving articles. Any level of commitment is welcome! If you care to just add some input on the founding of the new project, awesome. If you would like to take an active role in editing articles, that is awesome as well! Knowledge of wildfires is NOT a prerequisite for joining the project. In fact, it would be great to have some members of the project who are NOT fire-buffs. That way we make sure that articles aren't just written by and for people in the fire community. If this is something you have any interest in, I would love to have you join the project! Please feel free to join the discussion or leave me a message on my talk page. (Note that you are receiving this message from me because I saw you made multiple edits on a wildfire related page. Not just spamming you at random.) Hope you have a great day! Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 17:36, 3 August 2016 (UTC)

Category policy
Could you point me to the guideline or policy that says that people shouldn't be in this category? Thank you! Cyberflag1 (talk) 13:08, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- I'll be honest, I wasn't basing my decision to remove Heilman from that cat on policy; I just looked in the cat and didn't see any other people in it. Aside from that, given that the article in question is a BLP we should be careful when adding it to controversial cats (which of course would include "Wikipedia controversies"). Finally, a person isn't really a controversy; now if there were an article about his dismissal from the Board of Trustees, you could definitely add that to the "Wikipedia controversies" cat. Adande Thorne's date of birth - (OkarPro)
Hello Everymorning,
If you have read the talk page on Adande's wikipedia page - there is in fact strong evidence that he was not born in 1987 as stated on his Myspace. However, almost all of this evidence is now unobtainable due to Swoozie deleting/privatizing these videos. When do you believe Adande was born? If you believe it to be 1980 - why do you think he lied on his MySpace account even though he had a very small audience at the time? Thanks for taking the time to reply! — Preceding unsigned comment added by OkarPro (talk • contribs) 22:44, 9 September 2016 (UTC)
- Honestly, I don't know for sure (or at least sure enough to include his yob), but I think the evidence already on the talk page that he was born in 1980 is pretty compelling. IDK why he would have lied about his age to make himself seem younger. Everymorning (talk) 22:53, 9 September 2016 (UTC)

The part "such" chemicals is a possible SYN violation. The part "among" other variables is possibly original research, the text does not summarise the body and if it were added to the body it would be in the wrong article. The text is possibly written too close to the source. The right article was the e-cig aerosol page. But that article is long gone. If the e-cig aerosol page is restored then the sentence can be added to that article. For now I rewrote the claim and added it to a sandbox. QuackGuru (talk) 14:01, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
I Had a Dream That You Were Mine
Thanks for adding a page for I Had a Dream That You Were Mine, I was planning on making one later today if no one had by then. Castelbuono (talk) 19:43, 24 September 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the information.
Hi Everymorning: I am very new to the wiki process/system - but I will be happy to rollback any and all edits until such time as I found appropriate sources to amend the anemic, misleading and wrong entries on a page that currently exist regarding a band I founded. Thanks. Bobster wiki (talk) 17:32, 30 September 2016 (UTC) --Bobster_wiki

Cham Calendar
No sweat sending that page to AfD. It improved the page in the end (I'm against using AfD to force page improvements, but you were in good faith and I'm happy). I added links from the Cham people and language articles to the calendar article, as before the calendar article was pretty much an orphan, which didn't help your being able to verify. Thanks for withdrawing in the end. Best, Smmurphy(Talk) 16:03, 5 October 2016 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on National Association for genetic safety (NAGS) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.oagb.ru/about.php?txt_id=724. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 22:12, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
DYK for Jeffrey Fagan
On 8 October 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Jeffrey Fagan, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that research by Columbia Law School professor Jeffrey Fagan into stop-and-frisk in New York City was a major factor in Judge Shira Scheindlin's decision to rule the practice unconstitutional in 2013? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Jeffrey Fagan. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Jeffrey Fagan), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
Disambiguation link notification for October 10
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Emily Temple-Wood, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pat Quinn. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Jazette
Hey, we were told to communicate with you on this page. A new page that we are in the process of creating has been flagged for deletion. All of the information proviied is relevant and acccurate. We have saved the page to continue editing at a later time. What can be done immediately to keep our page from being deleted where we would have to begin all over again?
Thanks
- I'm not sure if this information is accurate. The article says, for example, that Jazette is J. Cole's wife, but in fact, his wife is Melissa Heholt. [2] If you want to keep the page from being deleted you should add reliable sources about her (I looked and couldn't find any). See WP:RS. Everymorning (talk) 15:28, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
- Understood. We will add and update the reliable sources. Melissa Heholt is NOT in FACT his wife. All of the articles(blogs) that have "confirmed" that information have been based on hearsay and rumors. When he confirmed that he was IN FACT married, he did not, nor has her ever SPOKE her name because Jazette is IN FACT his actual wife. The media has ran with Melissa being his spouse because that is the story that has been fed to them while we (reps for Jazette) have respected Jazette's privacy and the privacy of her and Jermaine's actual relationship. We are attempting to create a Wiki page for Jazette to showcase her work as an Artist, Entrepreneur and Hair Stylist. If it makes it better, we will omit her Legal Marriage to Jermaine until we update the reliable sources you are looking for. However, it is asked that you do not delete the page as we are building it for her and possibly remove the flag from it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JermaineJazette (talk • contribs) 15:36, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
- You're going to need to stick to what can be verified in reliable sources. If her marriage to J. Cole isn't reported in such sources, for whatever reason, then it has to be excluded from the article. By the way, I can't delete the page (only administrators can do that).Everymorning (talk) 15:39, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
- That makes sense. The information will be omitted for now. It's a shame that blogs are considered reliable sources, especially when referencing something so sacred as a marriage. Thanks for your help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JermaineJazette (talk • contribs) 15:42, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
- @JermaineJazette: Actually blogs are not considered reliable sources, especially as sources for a biography of a living person. If you could point out the sources you say are blogs, I'm sure they could be checked and removed if necessary. --Drm310 (talk) 23:01, 15 October 2016 (UTC)

NYT story
Just saw your note on Jytdog's talk page and figured I'd respond here since they have their topic ban. University scientists actually responded to that pretty quickly debunking old claims and misrepresentations of sources. The kicker for those of us that actually teach agronomy, etc. is that the NYT piece is riddled with misunderstandings of basic concepts that get taught at the undergraduate level. Worth a read if it interests you. Kingofaces43 (talk) 02:24, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

WP people
I have been updating the the English-speaking entries in Category:Wikipedia people for the sake of uniformity. I added that cat to Florence Devouard. I also removed for a second time a female name from Template:Wikipedia. We shall see if that sticks this time. Oh, look at that. I modified the God-king's BLP a little and it stuck this time. Good.--Judtojud (talk) 00:51, 5 November 2016 (UTC)
